Renae is a 1992 Concordia graduate who grew up in Revillo, S.D. where she graduated from Grant Deuel High School. After Concordia, Renae has enjoyed a successful career as a benefits specialist for the State of South Dakota and is also currently a Sunday School teacher.   As an athlete for the Comets, Renae helped lead the team to a 1989 NLCAA National Tournament Runner-up finish and the following year was selected to the 1990-91 Northern District NSCAA All-Tournament Team. That same year, she earned the Comet Award and as a senior was named a 1991-92 All-Upper Midwest Conference  (UMAC) selection. She lettered four times and earned the Most Improved Award in 1989-90. Outside of athletics, Renae earned high achievements as well, with a 1990-91 Who’s Who Among American Universities and Colleges honor and a 1991 Department of Business and Economics Award. Renae is married to her husband, Brian and they have four children: Dylan (15), Dalton (13), Jake (10) and Autumn (6).
