The Concordia University Department of Athletics is seeking aggressive, creative and self-motivated individuals to fill multiple undergraduate internship positions. Internships are available in each of the athletic department's core areas: marketing, compliance, communications/sports information and facilities.Â
Candidates should be team-oriented and must be willing to work nights and weekends. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential and knowledge of sports and an interest in the sports industry are a plus. Credit for internships is flexible and can vary across the four areas of the athletic department as well as academic requirements.

Athletics Marketing Internship Positions
5-to-8 interns per academic year, 0-to-12 credits per semester

Marketing Game Day Internship
- Assist in planning and executing game scripts and fan activities, including initiatives for Comet's Kids Club and Bear Brigade.
- Aid in creating in-venue marketing materials and in-game presentations, such as video board content, to enhance the fan experience.
- Co-develop and manage CSP Athletics' social media strategy across platforms like Facebook, X, and Instagram, including content creation and analytics tracking.
- Conduct research projects related to athletics marketing and fulfill other assigned responsibilities to support departmental objectives.Graphic Design Internship
Graphic Design Internship
- Create marketing & promotional content for games, such as in-venue assets for video boards, digital and print materials, and websiteÂ
- Develop, manage, & execute the social media strategy & content for CSP Athletics across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & more.Â
- Assist with photo editing and image manipulation

Athletics Communications & Sports Information Internship Positions
3-to-5 interns per academic year, 0-to-12 credits per semester
- Gameday positions working with technology including live webcasts, photography, game statistics software, and social media
- Create highlight packages of select sporting events to be distributed on YouTube, social media, game recaps and on cspbears.com
- Photo management utilizing the cspbears.com photo database and other CSP athletics online photo galleries
- Writing select feature stories, game previews and recaps, and player bios for cspbears.com

Athletics Compliance Internship Positions
10-to-12 hours per week
- Develop an understanding of NCAA legislation and the role of an NCAA Compliance Officer
- Assist in the completion of academic evaluations for coaches concerning the eligibility of prospective student-athletes
- Learn about the initial eligibility and continuing eligibility requirements for student-athletes
- Hands-on experience with the NCAA software
