Concordia-St. Paul Athletic Hall of Fame
Kurt earned letters in three sports while he was a student at Concordia: baseball (four letters); soccer (three letters); and wrestling (two letters). In baseball, Niebuhr was voted all-conference in '77 and '79, and earned team MVP honors in '79. He batted over .300 during three seasons; batting .511 in his senior year. In soccer, he was all-conference honorable mention in '77; all conference in '78 and '79; and team captain and MVP in '79. Mr. Niebuhr currently serves as director of Lutheran Campus Ministry at University of Houston.
