Montevideo HS: Competed in football, swim and dive and track and field … named All-State in track and field … All-Conference in the 100m, 200m and 110m hurdles … named MVP of the team during his senior season … posted a time of 14.88 seconds in the 110m hurdles which was fourth in the state … also posted a PR of 10.94 seconds in the 100m and 51.08 seconds in the 400m … won two section championships with the Thunder Hawks. 

Personal: Majoring in biochemistry at CSP … has future career goals of going to medical school with the intent of going into orthopedics … has four older sisters.

What made you want to join the Golden Bears?
"I knew I wanted to do track and field in college, and my mother said we should check out Concordia. When we came here, I immediately liked the size of campus. It felt almost like my hometown, even if it was in a bigger city."
