Concordia Career:
2011: NSIC All-Academic... played in all 11 games for the Golden Bears... 2 time CU Special Teams Player of the Week... rushed 3 times for 6 yards against Minot State (9/3/2011).

2010: NSIC All-Academic performer ... played in all 12 games as a key special teams blocker and earned reps on offense as a tight end/h-back ... made first career reception for two yards against Upper Iowa (11/6/10) ... returned two kickoffs for 14 yards, gaining seven yards on each attempt against St. Cloud State (9/11/10) and at Southwest Minnesota State (11/13/10).

2009: Played in eight games primarily as a special teamer ... also factored into h-back rotation ... able to return two kickoffs on short kicks, gaining 20 yards (10.0 per return) on his two attempts, once at Minnesota Duluth (8/29/09) and again at Upper Iowa (10/24/09).

2008: Redshirted ... named CU Scout Offensive Player of the Week at Minnesota State.

Jamestown High School: Earned four letters in football and wrestling and added another in track for the Blue Jays ... was named All-West North Dakota and served as a Shrine Game alternate ... took third place in the wrestling state tournament ... named team Most Valuable Offensive Lineman ... also involved in student council, band and SADD.

Personal: Born November 5, 1989 ... son of Steve and Kim Spenningsby; and mother, Brenda ... has four brothers, Lucas (23), Jake (20), Logan (17) and Evan (7) ... has two sisters, Riley (18) and Emily (15) ... is a kinesiology/sport management major and business minor ... has earned the President's Scholarship and Dean's List recognition.
