Milwaukee Lutheran High School: Earned three letters and was an All-North Shore Conference First Team linebacker ... team captain and team MVP ... a Lutheran All-America linebacker ... was a two year varsity track & field competitor ... a two-time WIAA State Qualifier in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays ... earned U.S. Marine distinguish award ... also involved in Inertia Club and Milwaukee Rescue Mission volunteer.

Personal: Born September 13, 1993 ... son of Archie and Virginia Friends ... has an older brother, Douglas (31); and an older sister, Danielle (22) ... will major in criminal justice with a sociology minor ... his cousin, Donte Pettis, played defensive back for Winona State (2004-05) and North Dakota State (2002-03).
