2010: Did not play. 

2009: Played in all 11 games primarily as a special teams player ... earned CU Special Teams Player of the Week at Minot State (9/5/09) with two solo tackles ... earned CU Special Teams Player of the Week against Minnesota State (10/10/09) with two solo tackles ... made at least one tackle in last 10 games of the season ... had four games with two tackles ... topped his redshirt-freshman season total of tackles.

2008: Played in all 11 games as a standout special team contributor ... recorded 10 tackles ... returned two kickoffs against MSU Moorhead for 28 yards including a long of 19 ... was named CU Special Teams Player of the Week as he made a career-high five tackles, three solo, against Minot State ... recorded one tackle in five other games ... competed on CU track & field team running sprints. 

2007: Redshirted. 

Rockford East High School: Earned two letters in football and in track ... was a special mention scholar athlete in football and an all-conference performer in track ... led the area in tackles, led team in TD’s and rushing yards.

Personal: Born February 23, 1989 … son of Tracey Spence … has two brothers, Kevin Darby (26) and Bryant Spence (21); and a sister, Whitney Spence (25) … is a criminal justice major at Concordia ... intends to attend law school adn hopes to become an FBI agent or secret service agent ... has been recipient of Eagle Scholarship at Concordia.
