Concordia announces Athletic Hall of Fame, induction class of 2022

The newest seven inductees form CSP’s 17th Hall of Fame class

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Concordia University has announced the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022. The seven new members inducted this year are: Megan (Carlson) Brown, Bryan Lippincott, Katie (Anderson) McKenzie, John Sieling, Jacquelyn (Hauser) Snodgrass, Stanley Tischer, and Diahn Zeon, Jr..

This year’s induction class represents seven different sports led by two representing the football program with one each from baseball, wrestling and track & field on the men’s side, and volleyball, softball and golf from the women’s programs. Two were multi-sport student-athletes: John Sieling (football & baseball) and Stanley Tischer (football & wrestling).

The 2022 Concordia St. Paul Athletic Hall of Fame class will be officially inducted at the Athletic Hall of Fame brunch during Homecoming 2022 weekend on Saturday, October 1 at 9 a.m. on campus at the Buenger Education Center (BEC). Tickets to the brunch are limited, but available on the CSP homecoming registration website.

The seven new members represent the 17th induction class to the Athletic Hall of Fame dating back to its origination in 1992. The Hall of Fame now has 142 members.

Concordia began sponsoring four-year college athletics in 1967-68, competing as a junior college and high school (academy) from its founding in 1893 until that time. Until 1999, CSP was known as the Comets and competed as members of the NAIA before its transition to NCAA Division II with membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) starting in the 1999-2000 academic year through present day.
