ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul department of athletics has announced its 2024-25 CSP Female and Male Athletes of the Year with senior
Teagan Starkey (volleyball) earning the honor as Female Athlete of the Year while senior
Antwan Kimmons (basketball) secured the honor as Male Athlete of the Year, the first for men's basketball since the department began archiving the award in 2006.
Starkey picks up the honor for the volleyball program for the first time since Riley Hanson in 2016-17 and is the 11th selection representing the volleyball program since 2006. She breaks a streak of four consecutive track & field selections for the female honor, which had earned the nod five times in the last seven years overall.
The honor awards the top athletic performers among Concordia's student-athletes with criteria focused on, but not limited to, performance in competition in the current year. Nominations for the award were solicited from head coaches of each program, and voted on by athletic department head coaches, administrators and support staff.
