ABERDEEN, S.D. - On the final day of the 2022 NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Concordia-St. Paul received points from eight places as the women's team finished in sixth place and the men placed ninth at Swisher Field on the campus of Northern State University.

The final day was highlighted by NSIC Champion
Tia Donlan, with a 162'01" in the discus, breaking her own school record by five and a half feet. She was one of three All-NSIC athletes on the final day, joined by
Christabelle Mulcahy in the 100m hurdles and
CJ Picazo in the discus. Donlan's mark moved her into 10th on the NCAA qualifying list.

The women picked up 21 points on Saturday coming from Donlan (10), Mulcahy (8) and the 4x400m relay team of
Cece Lewis,
Jaid Perry,
Isabella D'Burke and
Sydney Jackson who finished at 4:00.24 to take sixth place for three more points.

Mulcahy's performance in the finals was a three-spot bump from her fifth place run in the prelims, finishing second with a time of 14.17 seconds.

The men picked up 16 additional points from five different sources led by Picazo (6) while he was backed up in the discus by
Keegan Larson's seventh place throw (158'06") to pick up two more points in the event.

On the track,
Thomas Schauerman finished fourth in the 800m run to secure five points with his personal best run of 1:53.79, jumping up three spots from his seventh place run in the prelims.
Matthew Helser took seventh in the 1500m (3:58.49) to pick up a pair of points and
Thomas Dietel placed eighth to pick up a point in the 100m dash on an eight point day for the men's team.

The women finished with 43 points while the men finished with 30 with the the women outperforming the 2022 NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll, which tabbed them in eighth. Minnesota State took the championships on both the men's (214) and women's (191) sides.

The championships were highlighted by
Arika Robinson finishing third on the NSIC Individual Rankings leaderboard with 18, picking up 10 with her NSIC Championship in the high jump and eight from her All-NSIC performance in the heptathlon, finishing in a four-way tie. Makayla Jackson from Minnesota State secured NSIC High Point Performer honors with 32.50 while Tyl Woelber from Augustana took the title on the men's side with 27.
