BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) has announced 830 student-athletes named to the 2020 NSIC Spring All-Academic Team, of which 458 were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. Concordia-St. Paul's spring programs earned 56 selections including an overwhelming majority of 40 named to the Team of Excellence.

While CSP's total number of honorees reduced from a record of 65 selections last year, the total of 56 is impressive in that 28 of last year's record number were seniors. Concordia's 40 Team of Excellence honorees is also an increase over last year's 37 selections.

This year marks the fifth time in a row that Concordia has eclipsed 50 NSIC Spring All-Academic Team selections.

To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.

Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
