2021: Competed in the 600m, 1000m, 5000m, 3000m steeplechase, and 4x400m relay for the Bears ... set a new personal best in the 600m at the Chuck Peterson Dual (1/23) with a time of 1:42.59 ... set a new personal record in the 1000m at the Bison Open (2/5-6) with a time of 3:09.04 ... collected three top-ten finishes.Â
2020: Did not compete.
2019: Competed in mid and long-distance events for the Golden Bears in his freshman campaign … had four top-ten finishes this season … posted a personal best in the mile with a time of 4:55.28 and finished in 38
th place at the Mark Schuck Open and Multi (Jan 25-26), ran a personal best in the 3000 finishing in 13
th place with a time of 9:58.99 at the St. Thomas Showcase (2/8), posted a personal best in the 1500 with a time of 4:35.45 and finished in 22
nd place at the Bolstroff Twilight (4/25), ran a personal best in the 800 finishing with a time of 2:10.20 and took 14
th place at the Gustavus Alternative (4/26), posted a personal best in the 3000S with a time of 11:17.83 at the Minnesota Men’s Twilight (5/1), finished with a personal best in the 5000 with a time of 17:22.89 and finishing in ninth place at the Meet of The UnSaintly (May 3-4).
Cross Country:
2020: Did not compete due to season cancellation.Â
2019: Earned NSIC Fall All-Academic Team Honors ... ran in all six races for the Golden Bears ... set a new personal best 4-mile time of 23:14.24 at the Augustana Twilight (9/7) ... finished 211th at the Roy Griak Invitational (9/28) with an 8k time of 30:14.1 ... finished 99th with an 8k time of 30:10.4 at the Trent Smith Invitational (10/11) ... set a new personal best 8k time of 29:33.57 at the NSIC Championships (10/26) ... set a new personal best 10k time of 36:06.6 at the NCAA Central Region Championships (11/9).
2018: Participated in four races for the Golden Bears in his freshman campaign … ran a personal best of 30:01.2 during the 8K at the Tiger Open (10/13).
Mounds View High School:
A team captain as a senior for the Mustangs, also competing in track & field as a prep ... member of true team state champion Mustang squad in 2016 and 2017 for track & field ... held PRs in high school of 17:20 in the 5k, 4:49 in the 1600m, 2:08 in the 800m and 0:55 in the 400m.
Personal:
Son of a CSP professor ... has two older sisters and a younger brother ... will major in communication studies with a journalism minor ... aspires to be a journalist abroad or foreign correspondent.
