Minneapolis South High School: A seven-time letter winner for the Tigers including four letters in track and field, two letters in soccer and one in football … Was named captain of his track team including being named all city and All-Conference in his junior year … Was named team offensive MVP and also was the top goal scorer of his team for two seasons … Won the 400m dash in the Section Championship and helped lead his 4x400m relay team to state his junior year … Ran a 51.8 in the outdoor 400m dash in the Section Championship, and was part of a team that ran a 3:27.9 in the 4x400m relay which is a school record … Ran a 24.4 in the indoor 200m dash and a 53.8 indoor 400m dash.
