Concordia University Athletes of the Week & Year

Starting in the 2008-09 academic year, the Concordia University athletics department has been selecting the CSP Male and Female Athletes of the Week.

The criteria include, but are not limited to (in no particular order): the student-athlete's performance during the prior week (typically from Monday thru Sunday), the team's success in the game(s), quality of opponent and/or magnitude of the victory and the athlete's role in the outcome, reaching season/career milestones, school records, leading the NSIC or NCAA and sustained excellence over a period of time culminating in a selection. Each week, the choice is made independent of prior selections which may result in repeat award-winners. There has not ever been a Co-Athlete of the Week awarded.
