2015: NSIC All-Academic ... led the team with 13 appearances including two games started ... went 3-4 with four saves and a 4.91 ERA ... team leader in saves, second on the team in wins and third on the team with 36.2 innings ... ranked seventh in the NSIC with four saves and 12th in the NSIC with eight games finished in all games played and ranked sixth in the NSIC with three saves and 10th with seven games finished in conference-only contests ... held right handed bats to a .262 (28-107) average ... opponents hit .269 (18-67) with runners on base ... pitched season high 6.0 innings in season debut no decision against Minot State (3/11) ... pitched at least 3.0 innings in seven of his 13 appearances and had pitched multiple innings in nine of his 11 relief appearances ... had a strong four appearance stretch compiling 12.2 innings allowing one earned run on 14 hits and six walks with 10 strikeouts in four road games at Bemidji State, U-Mary, Northern State and Minnesota State (4/4 to 4/18) ... registered first save in his second appearance (first relief appearance) against Minot State (3/15), pitching 2.0 shutout innings with four strikeouts, no walks and three hits allowed ... pitched three scoreless frames allowing just one hit to secure second save against Minnesota Crookston (3/21, G2) ... picked up first win of the year in three one-hit, shutout innings with season-high five strikeouts at U-Mary (4/11, G2) ... won his next appearance at Northern State (4/15, G2) in four shutout innings, striking out three with one walk and four hits allowed ... saved two games in a four game series against Winona State (4/25, G2 & 4/26, G1), allowing a run on a hit in two innings in the first appearance and a run on a hit in the second appearance ... earned third win over Sioux Falls (5/1, G1) in three relief innings, allowing two runs on five hits with two strikeouts and no walks.

2014: NSIC All-Academic … made eight appearances, five starts on the mound for the Golden Bears … finished with a 3.52 ERA in 38.1 innings while compiling a record of 4-1 to go along with a save … had 26 strikeouts compared to 13 walks … held opponents to a .241 batting average … completed at least 5.1 innings in each of his five starts … limited opponents to two runs or less in six of eight appearances … threw a seven-inning, complete game shutout against Sioux Falls in his final start of the year at Sioux Falls (5/4/14, game two), allowing four hits and striking out five in a 12-0 win … didn’t allow an earned run in six innings and picked up the win in a 3-2 win over Upper Iowa (4/26/14, game two) … pitched his first career complete game and got his first win of the year against Minnesota Duluth in a 10-2 win (4/2/14, game two), giving up two runs on five hits and striking out four in seven innings.

2013: Appeared in six games as a pitcher with one start and had two pinch hit appearances as a hitter ... registered 12 strikeouts in 14.2 innings on the mound with a 12-3 strikeout-walk ratio ... earned first career win in 2.0 innings of relief, allowing one run on three hits in a 3-2 win at Upper Iowa (5/5/13, game one) in his fifth career appearance ... top performance of the year was his second appearance, working 6.0 innings of relief, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts and no walks against Bemidji State (3/30/13) in game two ... made first career start in his collegiate debut against Augustana (2/17/13, game 2) at Metrodome ... on the season, held hitters to a .167 average with two outs (3-18) ... pitched at least 2.0 innings in four consecutive outings ... had first career at bat against St. Cloud State (4/21/13, game 2) at Metrodome.

Ranked as a top-20 Canadian Showcase Prospect according to www.perfectgame.org which listed his fastball at 85 along with a 6.85 time in the 60, and an 8.5 overall grade ... played with Toronto Mets 18U team in 2011-12, and the 16U Mets in 2009-10 and 2010-11 and coached North Toronto A's ... Toronto Mets website listed him as one of the hardest working players in team history ... hit .337 in 2011 with 13 SB ... went 5-1 as a pitcher with 35-13 K-BB ratio ... held opposing hitters to .218 ... hit .323 during fall 2011 Mets season ... a baseball finalist in 2010 in Ontario for the Falcons ... helped Forest Hill Falcons to Toronto Region Finalist in 2011 ... a tremendous all-around athlete, took third place in the 100x4 men's medley relay in swimming at OFSAA in 2012 ... took third place in 100x4 men's free relay at OFSAA in 2011 ... was a junior Athlete of the Year in 2008 and 2009 ... as a student, earned the Subject Award for Math, Physical Education ... also involved in badminton, beach volleyball and track & field.

Born November 5, 1994 ... son of Masayuki and Noriko Suzuki ... has two brothers, Daisuke and Ryohei ... is majoring in exercise science and minoring in sports management at Concordia ... his older brother, Daisuke Suzuki, was a pitcher for Western Ontario University baseball ... his younger brother, Ryohei Suzuki, plays for the North Toronto A's team that Yuji coaches with.
