2017: NSIC All-Academic … NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week and NSIC Pitcher of the Week (3/13-3/19/17) … Appeared in 12 games in the Golden Bears, starting 11 … finished with a 7-3 record and 3.27 ERA … ranked fifth in the NSIC and first on the team with 81 strikeouts over 63.1 innings pitched … finished with five completes games for the Golden Bears, the most for a CSP pitcher since 2009 … held opponents to a .259 batting average, tops on the team … opponents hit only .225 against him with two outs … his 4.8 strikeouts per walk was the best on the team among qualified pitchers (54^th in DII) … strikeout rate of 11..51 per nine innings ranked third in the NSIC (23^rd in DII) … in four starts to begin the season, threw 25 innings with 35 strikeouts and a 1.80 ERA, allowing only 15 hits … pitched 7.0 innings against Southwest Minnesota St., giving up one run on only 4 hits while striking out 10 on Mar. 5 … pitched CSP’s first recorded no-hitter against Southwest Minnesota St. on Mar. 18, going 7.0 innings and striking out 14 … went 7.0 innings on April 1 against Minnesota Crookston, giving up two runs on six hits while striking out 11 … pitched seven shutout innings on May 5 against Winona State, allowing only 4 hits while striking out 12 Warriors … pitched 5.1 innings against Minnesota Duluth in the NSIC Tournament, allowing no earned runs and striking out 7.
 
 
2016: NSIC All-Tournament Team … appeared in nine games while making eight starts on the mound as a freshman for the Golden Bears … finished with 2-3 record and a 4.83 ERA which ranked 12th in the NSIC while pitching 54.0 innings … pitched two complete games on the season … struck out a team leading 43 batters and holding opposing batters to a .315 batting average which ranked third on the team … struck out 11 batters looking … allowed only 68 hits with ranked tied for 17th in the conference … ranked fifth in the conference in runs allowed with 31 and tied for third in walks allowed with 12 … only allowed one triple on the year … averaged 7.17 strikeouts per game which led the team … pitched 6.0 innings and struck out six batters in his first collegiate start and win against Southwest Minnesota State on Mar. 5 … struck out 22 batters through his first four appearances … struck out a career-high nine batters in 7.0 innings pitched while only allowing five hits and no runs against Sioux Falls on May 1 … pitched a complete nine inning game and struck out four batters in his final appearance of the season against Minnesota Duluth on May 13, he only allowed six hits and one run in the Golden Bears 10-1 win.

North St. Paul High School: Has earned letters every season since his 2012 freshman campaign along with academic letters from 2011 to present … has earned All-Suburban Conference honors and All-District honors as a junior for the Polars … during his junior season in American Legion baseball, posted a 7-1 record with a 0.87 earned run average over 56.1 innings … struck out 66 with a 3.14 strikeout-walk ratio … posted a 1.15 WHIP, allowing just 44 hits and 21 walks … also involved in National Honor Society and four years of A-Honor Roll.

Personal: Will major in engineering with a minor in education … aspires to attend graduate school for engineering after Concordia … his aunt played softball at Concordia-St. Paul and University of Minnesota as a pitcher and shortstop (1989-92).
