Earned two letters in football and track & field for the Rockets ... two year starter in both sports and a captain of the football team ... named the Athlete of the Season in football and helped the Rockets to a 6-4 record including the second round of the playoffs ... named All-Big 9 Conference and All-Big 9 honorable mention ... as a track & field athlete, won the All City shot put championship and took fifth in the shot put at sections, also placing ninth in the discus ... also involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Guiding Positive Students, Captains Corner and Muffin Club.
