ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Concordia-St. Paul track and field teams' strong performance at the UST Invite was highlighted by four top finishes on Friday night on the campus of the University of St. Thomas.
 
Josh Johanson and Bryan Elyea-Wheeler shined on the men's side with wins in the high jump and the pole vault, respectively, while Gloria Williams won in the 200m and Wakpor Ighovojah won the 60m hurdles.
 
Johanson cleared 5'10.75" in the high jump while Elyea-Wheeler put up a height of 14'5.25". Williams finished with a time of 26.49 seconds in the 200m while Ighovojah finished in 7.94 seconds.
 
David Stanley finished one off the pace with a time of 51.46 seconds to take home a second place finish in the 400m while Matthew Marrin added a third place finish with a time of 23.44 seconds on the men's side.
 
Williams and Ighovojah each added to their top finishes with a pair of second place finishes as Williams finished second in the 60m with a time of 7.94 seconds while Ighovojah finished second in the long jump with a height of 17'2.25".
 
Mariah Hoffman also added a third place finish in the weight throw while Marianna Kramer finished third in the high jump.
 
Concordia will split up next weekend as they travel to both the Warren Bowlus Open and Multis at UW-Stout as well as the Jack Johnson Classic at the University of Minnesota.
