GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Concordia-St. Paul men's and women's track & field and cross country teams had nine student-athletes named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Teams, it was announced on Tuesday. Six Golden Bear men, including Ethan Blischke, Cade Feist, Andrew Giger, Will Hugo, Arik Nikolas, and Dan Otto, and three CSP women, including Nyadio Chan, Maya Lavendusky, and Mina Nguyen, earned the honor.

The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District honors in track and field/cross country, student athletes must carry a minimum 3.50 grade point average and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. Additionally, eligible student-athletes must rank in the top 50 in their NCAA region in at least one event in track and field or have placed in the top 50 at the NCAA Central Regional Cross Country Championship.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The track and field/cross country first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.  Ethan Blischke (Distance, Sr., 6-4, Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West HS)
