Straub finished in ninth place out of the 16 competitors in the event, tallying a total of 5093 points. In the seven events of the heptathlon, she finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles, fifth in the 200-meter dash, eighth in the shot put, eighth in the long jump, 11th in the javelin throw, 12th in the high jump, and 14th in the 800-meter.

She set a new personal record in the shot put with a distance of 39' 9.75" (12.13 meters).

With her selection as a second-team All-American, Straub becomes the first All-American in the outdoor heptathlon for CSP since Arika Harbo in 2023-24. Straub, who is also a member of the Concordia volleyball team, has now earned All-America honors in two sports after being named an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention last fall.

Concordia now wraps up the outdoor season with two All-Americans, as sophomore Cam Mata earned Second Team honors in the long jump just a day prior.
