A few Golden Bears took part in the Snowshoe Open on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday. The entire team is preparing for the Indoor Conference Championships on the 26-27^th of this month.

Senior thrower Mike Cullen reset his own school record in the shot put. Cullen started off this indoor season strong by setting this record, and now finished the regular season by breaking that mark with a throw of 54'4.50. Cullen said before the meet that he was using the Snowshoe Open as an opportunity to prepare for conference by acting as if it was the conference meet. He referenced the great competition that comes to the Snowshoe and that he has had success competing at the University of Minnesota over the course of his career.
