Concordia Career:
2019: All NSIC honorable mention … changed to number 26 to honor late teammate, Billy Brown … led all seniors in tackles (53), tackles-for-loss (14), and sacks (7.5) … member of a defensive line who played a key role in leading Division II in sacks per game (3.73) ... established himself in Concordia’s career record books with the following ranks: fifth in sack yardage (116), seventh in tackle-for-loss yardage (158), seventh in sacks (20), and eighth in tackles-for-loss (34) … earned team player of the week honors four times throughout the season, including three claims in the final four weeks … recorded his season-high eight tackles, including two for loss and one sack vs. Minnesota State (9/21) … ended the season on a tear, recording 10.5 tackles for loss and six sacks over the last six games.
2018: One of four players on the team to earn the Team Leader Award ... earned the team Defensive Lineman of the Week award three times (vs UIU, WSC & Augie) and named the team's Defensive Player of the Week against Minnesota Crookston ... named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for producing NSIC single-game highs for the week of 4.5 TFL and 4.0 sacks along with nine tackles in a 21-13 win over Minnesota Crookston (10/20), his sack total for the game was the third-highest single game total in DII football for the season through week eight and the TFL/sack totals were second-highest in the Northern Sun through week eight ... finished the year ranked sixth in the Northern Sun with 0.73 sacks per game with eight total sacks on the year ... ranked second on the defense with 10.5 tackles for loss and fifth on the team with 46 total tackles ... had a team-high seven quarterback hurries ... had multiple tackles in 10 of 11 games on the year and topped five tackles five times ... had at least a half TFL in eight games and at least a half sack in seven games ... also had a fumble recovery along with 1.5 tackles for loss and a half sack among his two tackles in a win over Upper Iowa (9/8) ... in 28 career games, has compiled 20.0 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks and 124 total tackles with three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
2017: Played in seven games for the Golden Bears, starting five as a defensive lineman … collected 33 tackles (21 solo), including 3.5 tackles for loss … had the third most sacks on the team with three … forced two fumbles, tied for second best on the team … had at least two tackles in each of his seven games played … racked up nine tackles (eight solo), including a sack against MSU Moorhead (9/23) … against Wayne State (10/28) recorded six tackles as well as a sack … made six tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack against Augustana (11/4).
2016: Missed the season due to injury, did not compete.
2015: Played in and started 10 games for the Golden Bears ... a two-time Concordia Defensive Player of the Week against Minot State (9/19) and Wayne State (10/24) ... recorded 45 tackles (15 solo), which tied for eighth most on the team and 1.5 sacks on the season ... made six tackles for loss ... ranked 44th in Division II and sixth in the NSIC in fumbles recovered with two ... had six games with 5-plus tackles recorded ... recorded five tackles and recovered a fumble against MSU Moorhead (9/12) ... made six tackles (five solo), inlcuding three tackles for loss for 14 yards and also added a sack at Minot State (9/19) ... tallied three tackles, a half sack and recovered a fumble at Upper Iowa (10/10) ... recorded six tackles (four solo), including 1.5 tackles for loss at Wayne State (10/24) ... made a season-high eight tackles in the home finale against Southwest Minnesota State (11/7).
2014: Redshirted, did not play ... a two-time Concordia Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week against Upper Iowa (10/25) and SMSU (11/1).
Roseville Area High School:
Led the Raiders in tackles as a senior in 2013 while helping the team to a 10-3 finish ... named All-Suburban East Conference as a senior ... also competed in the shot put and discus in track & field.
Personal:
Will major in community health science ... intends to pursue a master's degree in communications and aspires to be a nutritionist in his career ... also interested in starting a mentorship program ... his brother-in-law was an outside linebacker at Concordia-St. Paul (2005-10).
