ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Concordia-St. Paul women's golf team is set to compete at the NCAA Central Regional on Monday morning, May 4. The three round tournament is set to take place at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri.
For the Golden Bears its their first appearance at the Central Regional since the 2015-16 season when they finished sixth at the regional with a team score of 902 (+38). The sixth place finish capped off a run of eight consecutive seasons where CSP competed at the regionals with their best finish coming in 2011 when they took second place and eventually finished in 12th place at the NCAA Division II Championships.
2026 will mark the ninth time the Golden Bears have qualified for the NCAA Central Regionals.
Tournament and Course Information
The St. Joseph Country Club is an 18 hole championship course designed by A.W. Tillinghast and renovated in 2003. Established in 1898, St. Joseph Country Club is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi River. It is an 18 hole, 5,996 yard, par 72 course.
18 teams and six individuals are slated to compete at the regional, with the field being comprised of CSP, Arkansas Fort Smith, Central Oklahoma, Rogers State, Southwest Oklahoma State, Central Missouri, Missouri Western, Harding, Wayne State, Northwest Missouri, Minnesota State, Missouri Southern, Henderson State, Winona State, Nebraska Kearney, Arkansas Tech, Augustana and Washburn.
The six individuals slated to compete are, Morgan Simmons of Oklahoma Baptist, Jessica Parker of Northeastern State, Carley Button of Southeastern Oklahoma State, Haley Whittern of Southern Nazarene, Brianna Chamoun of Southern Arkansas and Gracie Doke of Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Tee Times
Tee times for the Monday, May 4 first round will begin at 8 a.m. all play will start on hole one. CSP will tee off at 12:30 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Golden Bears finished third at the NSIC Championships last week, behind a three round team score of 934 (+70). It was the lowest three round score in program history at the NSIC Championships, beating out the 957 (+105) at the 2010 conference tournament where CSP finished in second place.
Addi Wood climbed the leaderboard, using a 71 (-1) in the third round to card a 224 (+8) for the tournament, finishing a tie for first through 54 holes. Wood eventually took second place after losing a four hole playoff to NSIC Champion Gaia Stancikova of Wayne State.
The freshman still managed to take home All-Tournament honors, while also recording the second lowest 54 hole score by an individual golfer in program history, finishing two strokes off the record.
Rebecca DeLong carded a 233 (+17) for the tournament, finishing in eighth place. For DeLong the finish marked her best showing at the NSIC Championships, while also setting a new career 54 hole low.
Piper Hill shot a 242 (+26) across all three rounds of play to finish in 24th place. Ella Matzke carded a 241 (+25) for the tournament, good for a 22nd place finish, matching her 54 hole career low and recording her best placement at the NSIC Championships.
Darby Barstad shot a 248 (+32) to finish in 30th place.
Through 24 rounds this season the Golden Bears own the best single season four player scoring average in program history at 314.0. Additionally, Addi Wood's 75.5 scoring average is the lowest single season scoring average of any Golden Bear in program history through 24 rounds.
Rachel Gray managed a 77.7 scoring average through 26 rounds of play during the 2015-16 season, eventually finishing 20th at the NCAA Division II Championships with a three round score of 299 (+11).
