BAY CITY, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate conference (GLIAC) has announced the fifth Lacrosse Players of the Week award for the 2026 season with Concordia-St. Paul's senior midfielder Susie Monson earning Offensive Player of the Week.
Monson earns her fifth career GLIAC Player of the Week award and second of the season after earning one during the second week of play earlier this season.
The senior becomes the 23rd in program history to earn a POTW award.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Susie Monson, Concordia-St. Paul
Susie Monson earns her second GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week this season after tallying seven goals and four assists over the weekend. Monson added four ground balls, four caused turnovers and 10 draw controls to round out her stellar week. Her 41 draw controls rank second in the GLIAC and her 6.25 shots per game rank third.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kacie Stolarek, Davenport
For the second time this season, Kacie Stolarek of the Davenport University women's lacrosse team has been named the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week. Stolarek helped guide the Panthers (5-2, 0-0 GLIAC) to an 11-10 win over Lewis on Sunday (March 15) in the squad's home opener. In the victory, the freshman finished with three caused turnovers, seven ground balls and two draw controls. On the season, she leads the team in ground balls per game (7.5), as the game against the Flyers was just her second of the season, missing time due to injury. Looking ahead, Stolarek and the Panthers will host Ashland on Sunday (March 22) afternoon at the DU Turf Field.
