Calder Erick finishes 15th in decathlon at NCAA Championships

The senior tallies 5,599 total points in the event

PUEBLO, Colo. - Concordia-St. Paul senior Calder Erick wrapped up competition at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday afternoon, finishing in 15th place in the decathlon on the campus of CSU-Pueblo.

In total, Erick amassed 5.599 points in the decathlon, tallying 3,681 points on day one and adding 1,918 points on day two.

Erick began day two with an 11th-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 15.40 seconds.

In the discus throw, he placed 13th with a mark of 34.50 meters (113' 2"). In the javelin throw, Erick landed in eighth place with a mark of 48.18 meters (158' 1").

Erick finishes his collegiate career as a two-time NSIC Champion (2024 outdoor decathlon, 2025 indoor heptathlon) and a one-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American after he finished 10th in the heptathlon at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships.
