Golden Bears set record with 46 NSIC Winter All-Academic selections

32 Concordia athletes named to NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence

BURNSVILLE, Minn. — The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that 789 student-athletes have earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2024-25 winter athletic season; 484 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, while 305 earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

Concordia-St. Paul had 46 selections, including 32 that earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors. The total of 46 set a new school record, topping 2021-22 season's 40 selections. The 32 Team of Excellence honorees are also a new record, shattering the previous mark of 25 from 2020-21. 
 
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.
 
Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
