ST. PAUL, Minn. – Concordia-St. Paul head football coach Shannon Currier has announced 38 additions to the football program for the 2025-26 academic year.
 
"We wanted to address the entire roster, hitting each position on the team including the specialists," said Coach Currier. "We placed an emphasis on the defensive line because we graduated a variety of players up front, and we really wanted to revamp and reestablish our dominance at the position. We think we hit the jackpot there, and there are a couple of key players in the group."
 
He continued, "Everyone is optimistic on signing day, but we think this is one of our top classes. Now we need to do the work, develop them and make them as good as they can be. I'm impressed with their skills and athleticism, but beyond that, as a whole they have a love for the game, high character and a lot of high-achieving academic standouts."
 
He concluded, "We did a good job in the Midwest, bringing in local talent as well as neighboring states such as Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. But we are also bringing in some outside talent with a couple from Georgia, St. Louis, Florida along with Tennessee, Ohio and Nevada – it's a good mixture of backgrounds and places represented and we are excited to bring them all together. We had a lot of early commitments, and we were done much earlier with our class than we've been in the past. We'll continue to shape the roster, but we are close to having a full roster early in February."
