WEST FARGO, N.D. - The Concordia St. Paul swimming and diving team wrapped up their most successful NSIC Conference Championships to date, finishing fifth in the team standings with a school record 424.50 points at the Hulbert Aquatic Center Saturday evening.

Saturday's competition was highlighted by Farida Maher's first-place finish in the 200 yard freestyle and diver Caitlyn Greenwalt's top finish in the 3-meter dive, marking the first diver in school history to become an NSIC Champion.

Greenwalt reached the top of the podium for the first time as a Golden Bear, after finishing as a runner-up last season. She becomes an All-Conference diver and has her spot in the NCAA Prequalification Diving Meet locked up in Indianapolis.

Maher continued her shine as the most accomplished swimmer in CSP history with her top finish today in the 100 yard freestyle, she became a four-time conference champion and recorded her 13th All-Conference honor of her career. Maher hit her fourth NCAA B-Cut of the meet and has her eyes set on Indianapolis.

Sophie Leo found her spot on the podium for the third time of the meet, finishing fourth in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 52.13.

Diver Chloe Jones earned her first spot on the podium in the 3-meter dive, reaching finals and finishing in eighth place in her first conference meet.

As a team, the Golden Bears finished fifth in the team standings for the second year in a row and increased their score by 46.5 points this year. As a team they have increased every year in the number of swimmers and divers along with their team score since their first appearance at the NSIC Championships in 2021.

Concordia will set their eyes on the 2024-25 NCAA Division II Championships that are scheduled for March 11-15 in Indianapolis, Ind. at the Indiana University Natatorium.
