GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming and Diving CSC Academic All-America® teams and Concordia-St. Paul junior Sophie Leo was named to the Third Team.
Leo earns her first CSC Academic All-American honor, becoming the second swimmer in program history to make their way on to one of the three teams. She also was the only NSIC student-athlete to earn the accolade.
Emily Mears-Bentley of University of Findlay, a senior studying psychology was named the 2025-26 Academic All-American of the Year after capturing an NCAA Title in the 200-Yard butterfly at this year's NCAA Championships while holding a 3.90 GPA.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
