Three Golden Bears earn All-NSIC South Division honors

Christensen headlines the group as an All-NSIC First Team selection

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Three Golden Bears earned All-NSIC honors for the 2025 season, headlined by All-NSIC First Team senior center Caydon Christensen, while sophomore defensive end Isaiah Wray and redshirt freshman linebacker Mike King were named All-NSIC Second Team, as voted on by league coaches.
 
Christensen becomes a two-time All-NSIC selection while Wray and King earn all-conference honors for the first time.
 
#78 Caydon Christensen (C, 6-3, 305, Sr., Belmond, Iowa / Belmond-Klemme HS)
  • 2025 All-NSIC South Division First Team
  • 2024 All-NSIC Second Team
  • 2023 NSIC All-Academic Team
  • Six-time CSP Offensive Lineman of the Week (5x as individual)
  • CSP Offensive Player of the Week in season-opener
  • Seven-time team captain as a senior
  • Played in all 44 games during CSP career, three years (33 games) as starting center
  • Blocked for three 200-yard rushing performances in final five games of the season
  • Graded at least 92 percent in all 11 games
  • Had season-highs of 98 percent in back-to-back weeks against Minnesota State and Augustana
  • Also graded at 97 percent four times
  • Allowed just one QB hit all season

 
#57 Isaiah Wray (DE, 6-5, 256, So., Racine, Wis. / St. Catherine's HS)
  • 2025 All-NSIC South Division Second Team
  • Five-time CSP Defensive Lineman of the Week
  • Named CSP Defensive Player of the Week against Minnesota State
  • A six-time team captain as a sophomore
  • Ranked 10th in the NSIC in total tackles (72) and 13th in tackles for loss (7.5)
  • Led CSP in total tackles (72) and tackles for loss (7.5)
  • A two-year starter on CSP's defensive line with 19 starts among 21 games played in two seasons
  • Added 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble
  • Had a pair of 10-tackle performances, against Minnesota State and Sioux Falls
  • Had multi-TFL performances in back-to-back games at Winona State (2.5) and against Wayne State (2.0, 1.0 sack)
  • Had at least four tackles in all 11 games 


#11 Mike King (LB, 6-0, 205, R-Fr., Racine, Wis. / Case HS)
  • 2025 All-NSIC South Division Second Team
  • Named CSP Defensive Player of the Week against Minnesota Duluth
  • Ranked 13th in the NSIC in total tackles (69) and 17th in tackles for loss (7.0)
  • Finished second on the team in total tackles (69) and tackles for loss (7.0)
  • Had at least two tackles in all 11 games
  • Had a season-high 11 tackles, 1.0 TFL against Minnesota State
  • Had 10 tackles in the win at Minot State
  • Had nine tackles, 1.0 TFL against UMD
  • Had nine tackles against Jamestown
  • Finished season with a pair of tackles, 2.0 for loss with a sack against Sioux Falls
