SERIES HISTORY: WSC 14, CSP 11
The series began when CSP joined the NSIC and NCAA Division II level in 1999, with the Golden Bears winning four of the first five and six of the first eight from 1999 to 2006.
The Wildcats won three-straight in 2007, 2008 and 2009 before the Golden Bears won three of the next four from 2010-13, holding a 9-6 series edge through 2013.
Since then, it's been heavily tilted towards Wayne State, who has won eight of the last 10 games since 2014 including a pair of four-game win streaks with CSP winning back-to-back in 2018 and 2019 in Concordia's last wins over Wayne State.
The Golden Bears are 5-7 all-time in Wayne America, last winning 28-21 on the road in 2019, dropping its last two trips in 2022 and 2024.
WSC has shut out the Golden Bears each of the last two contests, 21-0 in 2024 in Wayne and 34-0 last year at Sea Foam Stadium.
