GREENWOOD, Ind. - The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), was released on Tuesday. Concordia-St. Paul's Thomas Gutzmer, Tommy Marker, Ben Rasinski, Trey Timm and Brandon Sperling were all named to the team.

The Men's At-Large program includes student-athletes from the following NCAA sports: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming & diving, tennis, volleyball, water polo and wrestling.

This is the most athletes the Golden Bear golf team has ever had named to the Academic All-District® Team. Ben Rasinski becomes the fourth two-time Academic All-District® golfer in program history after being named to the team last season.

District Seven includes the member institutions from the NCAA's Central Region including the Northern Sun (NSIC), Mid-America (MIAA) and Great American (GAC) conferences.

The Academic All-District® Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The five Golden Bears advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first, second and third-team Academic All-America® selections announced on July 17.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All‐America® programs.
