ST. PAUL, Minn. – The NCAA has announced selections for the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships from March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kansas and Concordia-St. Paul had three student-athletes in four different events who were selected. Arika Robinson is set to compete in the high jump and pentathlon while Jakob Tordsen earned a spot in the heptathlon and Eben Mundfrom earned a spot in the weight throw. Robinson and Mundfrom added USTFCCCA All-Region honors as well.
 
Robinson made it three consecutive seasons qualifying in the high jump as she earned All-America Second Team honors with a 10th place finish last season. This past weekend, Robinson had a weekend to remember as she was crowned as the NSIC Champion in both the high jump and the pentathlon. Her height of 5'10.00" was an NSIC record. Robinson currently ranks third in the nation in the high jump and eighth in the pentathlon. Robinson added her third straight Indoor All-Region selection as well, earning it in both events.
 
This marks the first selection for both Tordsen and Mundfrom. Tordsen claimed a second place finish in the NSIC Championships in the heptathlon, scoring 5279 points, while Mundfrom finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 64'2.50". Tordsen sits in 12^th in the heptathlon while Mundfrom ranks 15^th in the weight throw. Mundfrom garnered his first All-Region pick.
 
The 2022 NCAA DII indoor track and field championship will run from March 11-12 from the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. A total of 404 participants will take part in the 2022 championship.
