GREENWOOD, Ind. - Concordia-St. Paul senior women's lacrosse midfielder
Katie Moynihan has been named to the 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District® At-Large First Team, as nominated and voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early August. The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
Moynihan is named to the District 7 team, comprised of the three Division II conferences in the NCAA Central Region: Northern Sun (NSIC), Great American (GAC) and Mid-American. The women's at-large team consists of the following sports: beach volleyball, bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis and water polo. The District 7 team features student-athletes from swimming, golf, tennis, bowling and lacrosse with Moynihan being the only lacrosse selection in the district.
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. - Graduated with a 4.0 grade point average with a double major in chemistry & math

- Three-time GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team selection
- Ranks fourth in CSP history with 46 career goals and 57 career points in 52 games played
- Added 11 career assists, 33 ground balls, 17 caused turnovers and 13 draw controls
- In 2021, ranked second on the team with 12 goals in just 10 games, matching a career-high and ranking in the GLIAC top-25
- Set a career-high with four goals in a win over Ashland (3/19/21), matching her career-high in points
