Men's golf outduels Augustana in New Ulm

Rasinski and Dunn tie for second of 15

NEW ULM, Minn. - Concordia-St. Paul (307) edged NSIC competitor Augustana (312) by five shots on Friday afternoon in a late addition to the schedule at the Spring Dual at New Ulm Country Club.

The tournament featured 15 players between the two programs, with Concordia coming out on top by the slim margin led by a pair of underclassmen, sophomore Tyler Dunn and freshman Noah Rasinski.

Dunn was one shot off his personal best round at CSP and established a new low score for a single round tournament event. Rasinski nabbed his fourth top-10 finish and second time placing in the top-5. Six of his last eight rounds have featured sub-80 scores.

The event individual medalist honors went to Augustana's Parker Klitzke, finishing +1 (72) on the round.

Three other players shot sub-80 rounds for Concordia, seniors Trent Anderson (78) and Chance Maiers (79) and freshman Gavin Jocelyn (79).

The event was the last for CSP until the three round NSIC Championships, to be played April 13-15 at Paradise Pointe Golf Course in Smithville, Mo.
