SMITHVILLE, Mo. - Concordia-St. Paul concluded play at the NSIC Spring Preview on Monday morning at the Outlaw Course at Paradise Pointe co-hosted by Bemidji State and Minnesota State.
Senior
Trent Anderson put together the top second round, shooting a 75 to finish second among the CSP competitors with a 155. Anderson finished tied for 40th in the 88-player tournament.
Freshman
Noah Rasinski held onto the top finish among Golden Bear players at 152 with his second round 82 being second-best on the day for the team. Rasinski turned in a 23rd place finish for the Golden Bears.
The tournament was played with 27 holes completed through Sunday and concluded with nine holes on Monday to beat expected inclement weather in the area.
Concordia followed up a strong 304 first round with a 327 in the second to finish in 12th among the 13 teams.
Iowa Western Community College won the team standings with a 583 (286-297), edging Lindenwood by a stroke (292-292). Augustana's Parker Klitzke was the top overall individual finisher at 141 (72-69), playing -3 golf over the 36 holes as the Vikings finished in eighth (622).
Concordia continues spring competition this weekend at the Upper Iowa Invitational at Sunnyside Country Club in Waterloo, Iowa on Saturday and Sunday.
