ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Concordia-St. Paul men's golf completed the final round of the Holiday Inn Express Classic at St. Joseph Country Club hosted by Missouri Western State University.
Senior
Trent Anderson posted the best round for the Golden Bears in the final round shooting a 75. His 75 was tied amongst the Golden Bears for the best round of the tournament with freshman
Noah Rasinski who shot 75 yesterday in his second round. Anderson finished the tournament leading all Golden Bears by seven strokes posting 78-80-75=233 (+20). Sophomore
Tyler Dunn and Rasinski finished second on the team with a score of 240 (+27).
Central Oklahoma's Eli Armstrong and Southwestern Oklahoma State's Joby Gray finished tied for first with identical round scores of 70-72-70=212 (-1).
Anderson, Dunn, and
Chance Maiers all improved their scores from round two. However, the team remained in 18th place of the 20-team field. They Golden Bears finished the tournament 312-320-322=954 (+102).
Central Missouri won the tournament 291-289-292=872 (+20). Their top finisher, Alex Springer finished third in the individual tournament finishing only two strokes back from the leaders.
The Golden Bears return home to begin preparation for their trip to Wichita Falls, Texas for the Midwestern State Invite Oct. 17-18.
