2021: Only the second freshman quarterback to make an opening week debut start for CSP since moving into DII football in 1999 … had 111 passes without a turnover to start his career ... started the first six games before season-ending injury ... concluded the year with 857 yards and six touchdowns through the air, completing 58.2 percent (82-141) of his passes with just one interception ... targeted at least eight receivers in each of his first five games ... added 82 rushing yards … named the CSP Offensive Player of the Week in season opener at Winona State (9/2) … six-time team captain … he made his debut at Winona State (9/2) completing 25-of-40 for 130 yards while leading the team in rushing with 39 yards on 11 attempts … had a season-best performance in a week 2 win over Upper Iowa, completing 20-of-27 for 249 yards and two touchdowns … had a season high of 300-yard mark for total offense in a game for the first time in week 4 against SMSU (9/25), passing for 260 yards and three TDs and rushing for 41 yards on nine attempts (301 total offense).

2020: Did not compete due to season cancellation.

Cactus High School:
Earned eight letters between football (4) and basketball (4) throughout his prep career … led his team to the semifinals during his senior year and reached the quarterfinals as a junior … earned All-District First Team honors … named All-Region Second Team following both junior and senior seasons … recorded 2,999 total yards during his senior season (841 rushing, 2,158 passing) … recorded 43 total touchdowns during the senior campaign (27 passing, 16 rushing) … also compiled 1,290 total yards during junior season with 16 total touchdowns … led the team to 18 wins during his final two seasons at quarterback … All-Academic first team during junior and senior year.

Personal:
A physical education major and interscholastic coaching minor with aspirations to become a physical education teacher and a football coach… a consistent Dean's List student and recipient of the President's Scholarship ... father played football at Emporia State University … has one older brother.
