2019: Competed as a distance runner for the Golden Bears … made five top-ten finishes, won the mile at the Snowshoe Open (2/15) finishing with a time of 4:25.16 … posted a personal best in the 5000 finishing with a time of 15:08.53 at the St. Thomas Showcase (2/8) … finished in 13
th place in the 5000 with a time of 15:23.96 at the 2019 NSIC Track and Field Indoor Championship (Feb 22-23), ran a personal best in the 3000 with a time of 8:42.22 at the 2019 NSIC Track and Field Indoor Championship (Feb 22-23).
2018: Competed as a distance runner for the Golden Bears … scored at both the Indoor and Outdoor NSIC Championships, teaming up with Andrew Leck, Spencer Bergen, and Benjamin Allen to take fourth place in the Distance Medley Relay (10:22.29) in the Indoor season and taking seventh in the 3000m Steeplechase with a PR time of 9:29.26 in the Outdoor season … tallied 11 top-five finishes throughout the year … started off the season with a second place finish in the 3000m (8:50.95) … won the mile race the following weekend with a PR of 4:22.05 at the Stout Open, while also finishing fifth in the 3000m (9:04.42) … put together a strong showing at the MSU Open & Multi, joining three teammates to win the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 10:20.35 and finishing third in the 5000m with a time of 15:22.55 … compiled two more top-five finishes at the Central College Dutch Invitational, winning the 5000m (15:42.04) and placing second in the 3000m Steeplechase (9:56.52) … took home another first place finish in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Dubuque Invitational with a time of 9:48.13 … set a new personal best in the 5000m (15:14.22) at the Meet of the UnSaintly, which was good for a second place finish.
2017: Competed as a distance runner for the Bears … ran a personal best time of 8:56.79 in the 3000m at the Minnesota Open … ran a personal best in the Mile at the Ted Nelson Classic with a time of 4:30.15 … ran another personal best in the 5000m with a time of 15:32.21 at the SDSU DII invite ... ran in two races for the Bears during the outdoor season … running a 5000m best time of 15:57.03 at the Holst Invitational.
Elk River High School:
A three-sport athlete for the Elks, competing in golf (2 letters) along with cross country (3 letters) and track & field ... set a PR of 17:22 in the 5k ... an All-Northwest Suburban Conference honorable mention performer in cross country and a team captain of the Elks ... helped the program to a Northwest Suburban Conference title, two section titles and two MSHSL appearances.
