2019: Was named to the NSIC spring All-Academic team, was tied for first in the NSIC and also led the team with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage … played in 36 games and started in 31 of them, hit .286 with 28 hits in 98 at-bats, slugged .367 with five doubles, one home run, while driving in 11, posted a .366 on-base percentage with 10 walks, three hit by pitches and he scored nine runs, collected 65 putouts and two infield assists … in his first year taking the mound for the golden bears Suits appeared in three games and started in one of them, he posted a 8.44 ERA in 5.1 innings of works, he struck out seven of the 28 batters he faced … in his four years at CSP he finished with a .280 batting average, collected 100 hits in 357 at-bats, slugged .392 with 17 doubles, one triple, seven home runs, and 57 RBIs, posted a .379 on-base percentage with 40 walks, 19 hit-by-pitches, while scoring 44 runs in his career, held a .990 fielding percentage with 675 putouts and 27 fielding assist and only seven errors in his four years … had a ten game hitting streak where he batted .433 with 13 hits during that span (4/01 to 4/13), had a hit in 21 of his 37 games he appeared in this season, displayed a season high two hits six times, most recent was in game two of a double header vs Minnesota State (4/28), went two for three with three RBIs and a double in game one of a double header at Wayne State (4/24), blasted a home run and drove in two while going one for three in game two of a double header vs Minnesota State (4/26), pitched three shutout innings and struck out four while only surrounding four hits in his only pitching start of the season in game two of a double header vs Minnesota State (4/28).
2018: NSIC All-Academic … appeared in 18 games for the Golden Bears, starting 15 as a first baseman … slashed .189/.380/.270 … also hit a double and triple on the season … scored eight runs and drove in four … went two for four against St. Cloud State with a RBI, a run scored, and a double … went one for three against Winona State on Apr. 29, hitting a triple, driving in a run and scoring a run.
2017: Appeared in 34 games for the Golden Bears, starting 29 …batted .280 on the season (23-82) … slugged .317 on season with a .378 on-base percentage … collected three doubles and 13 RBI on the season, as well as scoring six runs … was hit by best pitch seven times, the best mark on the team … hit .346 with runners in scoring position and .333 against left-handed pitching … went 7-16 to start the season (.438 average) scoring three runs in that span … had an eight game hit streak from April 7 to April 22, hitting .366 in those games as well as driving in six runs … went 7-17 in a pair of doubleheaders against St. Cloud State, driving in four runs while also recording a double on April 7 and 8 … went 2-3 against Minnesota Duluth in a NSIC conference tournament game on May 11, driving in two runs as well as hitting a double and laying down a sacrifice bunt.
2016: Appeared in 44 games while making 43 starts as a freshman for the Golden Bears … batted .300 (42-140) with eight doubles, six homeruns and 29 RBI while finishing with a .486 slugging percentage … ranked sixth in the NSIC with a .994 fielding percentage and eighth with 321 putouts … tallied 11 multi-hit games on the year including four straight games with a pair of hits from Apr. 3 to Apr. 6 … recorded his first collegiate hit against Southwest Minnesota State on Mar. 5 going 1-3 with a double and a RBI … hit for two doubles while going 2-3 and a RBI at Augustana on Mar. 12 … hit one homerun in three consecutive games all against Bemidji State on Mar. 25 and Mar. 26 …went 2-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and one homerun against Wayne State on Apr. 6 … ranked first on the team with 16 runners advanced.
Heritage Christian Academy: Went from a .250 hitter while earning a letter in 2012 as a freshman to .333 as a sophomore All-MCAA Conference performer in leading the Eagles to a section runner-up finish to his breakout junior year in 2014 as he hit .500 to earn All-Section, All-Area and All-MCAA honors for a second-straight section runner-up finish … he also earned team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors and he was named the top pitcher for the Minnesota Blizzard … also competes in basketball for the Eagles.
Personal: Interested in a dual degree in engineering and aspires for a career as a civil engineer … his mother ran track at Concordia College as a four-time All-American in the 400 meter.
