Concordia Career:
2019: Was named to the NSIC All-Academic spring team … competed in multiple pole vaulting contests for the Golden Bears … had 13 top-five finishes in the pole vault … took home fourth in the NSIC Indoor Championships (Feb: 22-23), clearing 15’6.25” in the pole vault … took first in the pole vault at three different meets, first at the Central College Dutch Invitational (April: 5-6) with a 15’7” jump, at the Bolstorff Twilight (4/25) with a 15’9” jump, and at the Gustavus Alternative (4/26) with a jump of 14’0”.
2018: Named USTFCCCA All-Academic … earned All-NSIC honors in both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons in the pole vault … set a new school record when he won the pole vault at the NSIC Outdoor Championships with a 4.81m mark … compiled 11 top-five finishes, including an impressive seven wins … never finished outside the top-ten in any meet … started the year with a seventh place finish (4.30m) at the Chuck Peterson Open & Multi … recorded his first collegiate win at the Minnesota State Invitational on January 12
th … tacked on another win (4.57m) at the MSU Open & Multi … ended the year with five wins throughout the last six meets, winning the Central College Dutch Invitational, the MSU Spring Winter Invitational, the University of Dubuque Invitational, the Meet of the UnSaintly, and the NSIC Championships and taking second at the Drake Alternative.
Holdingford High School: Lettered five times in track and field, once in football, once in basketball, once in cross country, and once in weightlifting for the Huskers … state champion in pole vault with a height of 15'3" ... Morrison County Track Athlete of the Year ... named team captain in track ... two-time All-State and three-time All-Central Minnesota Conference … conference champion and section champion as a senior ... helped the team to three True Team State Championships … two-time subsection champion and one-time section third place finisher … finished fourth in state as a junior … holds conference, sub-section and section record in pole vault at 15'3" ... also participated in business club.
Personal: Plans to major in accounting and minor in finance at Concordia.
