2020: Competed in the pole vault and 60m during the indoor season ... collected six top-ten finishes in the pole vault ... cleared 14'3.5" for a new personal record at the Minnesota Cold Classic and took ninth place (Feb 21) ...set a personal best time in the 60m with a 7.77 second finish at the Minnesota Open (Jan 11).
2019: Competed in the pole vault and javelin throw for the Golden Bears … had seven top-10 finishes in the pole vault … set a PR in the pole vault at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 10-11) with a height of 14’3.25”, which was good for ninth place … added a 13th place finish in the javelin at the Tomcat Twilight (4/18) with a distance of 125’11” … also cleared 13’3.5” in the pole vault at the Tomcat Twilight (4/18) to take third.
2018: Competed in 15 meets for the Golden Bears in pole vault and javelin throw … had eight top-10 finishes in the pole vault and two in the javelin throw … set a PR in the pole vault at the MSU Spring Winter Invitational on Apr. 11 with a height of 14’0”, good for second place … added a third place finish in the javelin at the MSU Spring Winter Invitational with a distance of 123’7” … put up a PR in the javelin throw with a 15
th place finish and a distance of 128’1” on Mar. 30 at the Central College Dutch Invitational … also cleared 13’11.25” in the pole vault at the Central College Dutch Invitational to take second … made it on the podium with a seventh place finish in the pole vault at the NSIC Outdoor Championships on May 11-12, clearing 13’9.75” … took home 10
th in the NSIC Indoor Championships in the pole vault.
2017: Competed as a pole vaulter for the Bears … finished fifth at the St Thomas Invite vaulting 4.00m … vaulted a personal best of 4.14m or 13’7” at the Snowshoe Open which was good for ninth overall ... his best finish in the pole vault was at the 2017 Jim Duncan Invitational when he vaulted 3.90m which was good for a fifth place finish … made his javelin debut at the Hamline Invitational when he threw 28.92m … threw a personal best distance in the javelin with a distance of 35.49m at the Bear Cat Twilight to highlight the outdoor season.
Bay Port High School:
Earned nine overall varsity letters in high school, two in football, four in wrestling and three in track and field … served as a captain on both the track and field team and football team … earned All-Fox River Classic Conference honorable mention in wrestling on two occasions … holds school record in indoor pole vault … cleared a career-best 13’9” as a senior … placed sixth in the state tournament in wrestling … helped lead track and field team to four conference championships, football to one conference championship, and wrestling to two conference titles … two-time state qualifier in wrestling … and helped lead track team to three state championships.
Personal:
Plans to major in Exercise Science and minor in 3D Studio Art at Concordia and hopes to pursue physical therapy.
