Concordia Career:
2019: Was named to the NSIC All-Academic spring team … competed as a distance runner for the Golden Bears … started off the year posting a personal best in the mile (5:01.64) at the Snowshoe Open (2/15) … recorded a top-ten finish at the Central College Dutch Invitational (4/5), taking third in the 5000 with a time of 18:20.58.
2018: Competed as a distance runner for the Golden Bears … started off the year with a PR in the mile (5:03.57) at the Ted Nelson Classic … recorded a top-ten finish at the Snowshoe Open on February 9
th, taking ninth in the 3000m with a time of 10:00.11 … added two more PRs in the two following meets, running the 5000m at the Emporia State Invite in 17:11.50 and running the 1500m at the MIAA v NSIC Showdown in 4:32.55 … tacked on another personal best at the Augustana Meet of Champions, running the 10,000m in 35:27.19.
Maple Lake High School:
Earned four letters each in cross country and track & field for the Fighting Irish, earning the team Hardest Worker award four years in a row as a prep athlete ... also named Most Improved twice, as a freshman and junior ... logged the most summer miles three years in a row (400, 500, 600) ... hit a PR in cross country in the 5k at 17:48 at the 2014 Litchfield meet ... had a 4:58 PR in the mile in track & field at true team state in 2015, running without a warm-up as a team substitute for an injured teammate ... set a PR in the 800m of 2:17 at Rockford last chance meet in 2015, running it twice on the season ... helped the program to True Team State championship in 2012 and runner-up finishes three years in a row (2013-15) ... captured conference championships each year as a prep.
