BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- For the second consecutive week and second time this season, Brennan Weckwerth was named NSIC Men's Golfer of the Week as announced by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference on Tuesday morning. The freshman picked up the award after taking home individual medalist honors at the Jewel Invitational where he shot a 140 (-4) across 36 holes of competition. The two-round score is the fifth-lowest in program history highlighted by a 68 (-4) first round. 

Weckwerth now has four rounds of par or better to open up the 2026-27 season, while also taking home medalist honors at each of his first two collegiate events.

Brennan Weckwerth (Fr., Rochester, Minn. / Century HS) - Concordia-St. Paul
- Shot a 140 (-4) across 36 holes at the Jewel Invitational 
- Recorded a first round score of 68 (-4) 
- Tallied seven birdies and 26 pars across both rounds 
- Carded the fifth-lowest two-round score in program history

- Finished ninth at the Jewel Invitational with scores of 71-75—146 (+2)
- Tallied eight birdies and 19 pars
Kasen Rostad (Minot State)
- Turned in his two best rounds of the year
- Shot a 2-over 74 and a 1-over 73 to finish tied for 12th at The Jewel Invitational
Charlie Hanson (Sioux Falls)
- Shot rounds of 73 and 71 to finish at 144 and tie for sixth at the Jewel Invitational
- Helped USF to a second place team finish 
Logan Chouinard (Winona State)
- Shot rounds of 69 and 72 to finish at 141, one stroke back at the Jewel Invitational
- Eagles the par five eighth hole in round one
- Added five birdies over the two rounds
