Lydia Haack named Third Team CSC Academic All-American®

Junior guard becomes second player in program history to be named Academic All-American®

AUSTIN, Texas - Concordia-St. Paul junior guard Lydia Haack earned a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Third Team selection on Wednesday. She becomes the second Golden Bear to earn the honor for women's basketball.

Haack joins Katie LaViolette among CSP women's basketball players to be a CSC Academic All-American®. LaViolette earned a third team honor in 2006-07 and a second team honor in 2007-08. 

This season, Haack led the No. 13 Golden Bears in points per game averaging 16.8 and in assists averaging 4.5. She scored 538 points, marking the fourth-most by a Golden Bear in a season. The junior also helped CSP win its most games in a season with 29 while securing both the regular season and tournament NSIC titles. 

Grace Foster of Lubbock Christian was named the CSC Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year. She averaged 20.2 points during her senior season. In the NSIC, Bri Stoltzman of Southwest Minnesota State was selected first team, and Kami Wadsworth of Sioux Falls joined Haack on the third team.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.

  • Recorded two double-doubles this season, dishing out a season-high 10 assists in both games
  • Helped the Golden Bears achieve the most wins in a season in program history
  • 2024-25 NSIC Regular Season and Tournament Conference Champion
