RUSSELVILLE, Ark. - Concordia-St. Paul's Lindsey Becher earned a 2024-25 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-America Honorable Mention. She is the second Golden Bear in women's basketball program history to earn the honor.Â
Becher joins Anika Whiting in 2013 as the other D2CCA Honorable Mention. The senior center earns the honor after being named D2CCA All-Central Region First team.Â
The senior averaged 13.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals this season. She also averaged 3.03 blocks per game ranking fourth in the nation. The senior had the most points (424), assists (57), rebounds (241), steals (41) and blocks (97) in a season in her career.
A highlight of Becher's season was breaking the program record for career blocks, finishing her career with 324. She finished her career ranking fifth in total points (1,492) and fifth in total rebounds (727).Â
Southwest Minnesota State's Bri Stoltzman was selected as the Ron Lenz National Player of the Year and earned a First Team All-America selection. She was the only other NSIC player to be recognized by the D2CCA.Â
Athletic Communications professionals from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the D2CCA All-America teams and the Ron Lenz Player of the Year. The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners sponsored the All-America teams.
