ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul women's swimming and diving team earned their highest invite score in program history with 1475.5 points to finish first at the WildBear Invite on Saturday evening at the Butler Center.
The Golden Bears point total marked the highest invite score in program history and the most since scoring 890.5 points at the Dragon Invite last season.
Leading the charge on day three was none other than Sophie Leo who wrapped up her outstanding meet with two more first-place finishes to tally six between the three days and bring her season total to 14.
Claire Briest added another first-place finish to her stellar meet, finishing with a time of 2:26.64 in the 200-Yard Breaststroke.
The 400-Yard Freestyle Relay added the exclamation mark for the Navy and Gold, taking the fifth top relay finish of the invite.
On the diving board, Chloe Jones and Mina Dahl rounded out the podium, taking second and third place respectively to lead the CSP divers.
As a team, Concordia added 15 top-five finishes to notch a total of 56 during the invite, a program-high while also notching 16 first-place finishes.
The Golden Bears will take a break for the holiday before they return to the pool on Jan. 16 for the Dragon Invite hosted by MSU Moorhead in West Fargo N.D.
