CSP swim and dive set for road dual at MSUM

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia-St. Paul swimming and diving team is set to travel to face the Dragons of MSU Moorhead in a dual on Saturday at the Nemzek Pool. 

Action is set to begin at 1 p.m. in Moorhead, Minn on Saturday.

Leo was once again the highlight for the Golden Bears, securing the squad's lone first-place finish. Leo's victory included her finishing ahead of seven Tommies who swam at the NCAA Division I level. 

Claire Briest rounded out the top-three finishers for the Navy and Gold, taking third in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:30.06.

On the diving board, Chloe Jones notched a top-five finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 206.80. 

The Golden Bears tallied seven top-five finishes and 18 top-10 placements in the double-dual. 

SOPHIE SURGES AHEAD
Junior Sophie Leo has continued leading the charge for the Golden Bears this season, accumulating six first-place finishes to bring her collegiate career total to 26. 

Leo has garnered two NSIC Swimmer of the Week accolades and is a swimmer to watch every meet. 

HISTORY AGAINST MSUM
The two programs have met a total of three times in duals dating back to November 12, 2022. MSUM holds a 3-0 all-time record against the Navy and Gold. 

Last season, the Dragons narrowly beat the Golden Bears 128-114 in their closest dual score yet. 

ABOUT THE DRAGONS
MSUM was picked to finish sixth in the 2025-26 NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll with 38 points, right behind CSP with 51 and Sioux Falls with 44. 

Last season, the Dragons finished in sixth place at the 2024-25 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships. 

MSU Moorhead currently sits at 5-0 in duals after starting their season perfect including a triangular sweep of Southwest Minnesota State and Jamestown last weekend.
