Bismarck, N.D. - The Concordia- St. Paul swimming and diving team got their first sweep of the season finishing ahead of both the Marauders of the University of Mary and the Wolves of Northern State Saturday afternoon at the BSC Aquatic and Wellness Center in Bismarck, N.D.

Following the meet, head coach Rachel Busch stated, "We had so much fun competing in a different meet lineup today. An extra special addition was the 200 Freestyle T-shirt relay at the end of the meet, which we are proud to have won!"

Busch added, "Many lifetime bests were achieved, including a school record by Sophie Leo in the 100 IM. Also want to highlight Sianmairead Cox for achieving personal best scores on both boards."

Sophie Leo highlighted the day for the Golden Bears finishing with five top-five finishes, two first place finishes and a school record. Leo broke the school record in the 100 IM with a time of 1:01:27 to place first.

Diver Sianmairead Cox tallied her best meet of her career finishing in the top-four in both dives and recording her highest scores in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.

Caitlyn Greenwalt once again shined on the diving board, sweeping both events to tally a top-three finish in both events at each meet this season. 

As a team, CSP finished with their highest collective score of the season with 21 top-five finishes and will look to carry their strong momentum into the holiday break. The Golden Bears will return to the pool January 10-11 in West Fargo, N.D. for the Dragon Invite hosted by MSU Moorhead.
