SERIES HISTORY: NORTHERN STATE 10, CONCORDIA 8
Last year, the Golden Bears snapped Northern State's six-game win streak against CSP with a 20-14 win at Sea Foam Stadium as Concordia improved to 2-3 at Sea Foam Stadium against the Wolves.
Concordia had won seven of the first 11 meetings between the programs from 1999-2011 prior to NSU's recent six-game streak which spanned 2012 to 2022.
The Golden Bears are 6-4 all-time in St. Paul against Northern State.

ABOUT THE WOLVES
The Wolves entered 2024 picked ninth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll after an eighth-place finish in 2023 with a 4-6 NSIC record and 5-6 overall mark.
After an 0-4 start in 2024, the Wolves have rallied with four-straight wins and are now 4-4 overall, 4-3 in the NSIC and in sixth. Their four-game winning streak includes three home wins over Winona State (30-24), Bemidji State (14-13) and SMSU (41-7) with a road win at UMD (24-21).
They bring a stingy pass defense to Sea Foam Stadium, ranking third in the NSIC and 20th in the nation with 154.1 yards allowed per game, but they surrender 164.1 per game on the ground.
They feature a three-pronged rushing attack led by
Hank Kraft's 393 yards, followed by
Wyatt Block (368) and quarterback
Daniel Britt (314). Britt (73-114-4) has passed for 706 and four TDs while
Colton Hackel (26-54-4) has 276 yards and three TDs in a QB committee as both have played all eight games.
Ty Wiley (26-239) leads five receivers with at least 10 catches and has three TDs, with
Tanner Branson second on the team in catches (17), yards (217) and two TDs.
Jake Adams leads the defense and is second in the country with 12.5 tackles per game for 100 on the year with 6.0 TFLs.
Matthew Baker adds 9.0 TFLs and 5.0 sacks as the Wolves have three players with 5.0 sacks, joined by
Max Van Landingham and
Gabe Gutierrez.
Kegan Mountain adds four interceptions for the Wolves.
Gutierrez is the reigning NSIC Defensive Player of the Week with three sacks in a win over SMSU while
Jeremy Caruso was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week, scoring 11 points including a pair of field goals from 34 and 40 yards and is tied for the NSIC lead with six FGM.
